The Google Map of Munches!

From chatting to newcomers to our and other munches we've noticed that even though people had heard of sites like IC and b.com, they still seemed rather in the dark about what was out there.

So, what with us both being geeks an' all, we thought about implimenting our own little Google Map about "what's in your area"!! Zoomable and scrollable, if you click on the markers it even tells you what's there and when, with a link to the event's website if we have it.

There are 25 events so far (you might have to zoom out a bit to see them all) and if you would like us to add yours, all we need is the full postcode of the venue, a brief description, and a link to the website.

NB: The underlying code can be a bit slow to load, and is a bit browser specific. But blame Google for that rather than us. We've tested the page with Firefox 1.06, Opera 8.02, Netscape 7.2 and IE 6.0.2800 all on Windows 2000 Pro, so plenty of people should be catered for.
